Chris Catalanotto kicked a 31-yard field goal with 10.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter Saturday, rallying Rhodes to a 30-29 victory over Colorado College at Washburn Field, in Colorado Springs, CO.
Catalanotto¹s game-winning kick came after backup quarterback Matt Ungaschick
completed four passes during a 51-yard drive that started with only 1:06 remaining in the game.
Ungaschick, who had replaced starter Mark Oliver in the first half, connected three times on the drive to senior wide receiver Justin Sealand. Ungashick then threw a 12 yard strike to Bryn Meredith , giving Catalanotto an opportunity to win the game.
Lynx junior linebacker Mason Mosby also had a huge day for the defense, recording a career high 16 tackles and recorded one tackle for loss. Lynx junior running back Charles Hoggard carried 26 times for 167 yards and a TD in the win, as Rhodes improved to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC.
